Our region is a varied and dramatic landscape. Walking, driving or cycling through the hills, bushland, coastline and beautiful scenery on the flats is a great way to experience the area. Dedicated bike paths make cycling safe and enjoyable.

There are many bushwalks to do in our stunning wilderness areas. The rugged gorges and steep cliffs are places to explore while bushland settings provide a place to shelter and camp.

We strongly encourage you to consider the fire danger rating for the day, prior to using any of the trails within our city.

We have numerous sport complexes with ovals, courts, pitches, greens and a diamond. We have tracks and trails for walkers, cyclists and horse enthusiasts. Skateboard and BMX facilities are available across the region, ranging from beginner to larger, more advanced set-ups. Many of these facilities have clubrooms and community centres which provide venues for meetings and social functions.
